Board of Directors
Leon Wong
Leon is a founding member of Firstland Group and is instrumental to the success of the company.
Leon has vast business experience in a diverse range of industries. The last 30 years he has been operating companies involving in building materials, petroleum products, import & export, retail, real estate and property development. He is currently the Managing Director of Lemans Building & Construction Pty Ltd.
He has a diploma in Building & Construction as well as a business degree from Northern Arizona University and a Master of Professional Marketing from Edith Cowan University; also studied International Economics and Cross Cultural Management at Fachhochschule Schmalkalden. Leon achieved his Doctoral degree in Business Administration from Murdoch University.
He lived in North America and Asia before relocating to Perth.
Nancy Wong
Nancy Wong is the licensee/director of Firstland Real Estate. She has been in the property industry for more than 30 years. Her last employment was General Manager in a property division part of a large conglomerate in Malaysia.
She subsequently became Managing Director of Firstland Management Sdn Bhd which is a property consulting firm to numerous development companies.
Nancy is a graduate from University Sains Malaysia, she also holds a real estate triennial license from Western Australia.
She was formerly on the board of trustees as director in World Vision Malaysia, a non profit organization
John Wong
John Wong, also a founding member, is a long time Perth resident. He has a business degree from the University of Oklahoma and a Masters of Economics from Southern Illinois University.
John formerly held employment with the D & C Bank in Malaysia and also Telstra Australia as an economist respectively. He started in the property business in 1987 with the development of Kinross Shopping Centre, Kinross Medical Centre and thereafter went on to building villa homes and apartments.
John also owns and manages a medical surgery in Joondalup, where his wife is the principal doctor.
